Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Everyone loves the green of this holiday, and everyone, no matter what their race or heritage, is Irish for a day. It’s great when green is green. Be beware, sometimes green is not what it seems!
If you’re old enough to remember the Soviet Union, or if you’ve studied socialism or communism, you know that the color red is associated with tyranny, despotism, and government control of everyday life. It’s associated with lies, violence, intimidation, and manipulation as a method of controlling the populace.
No, I’m not talking about the “red states” or “blue states” that media use to refer to Republican (red) or Democrat (blue) dominated areas. I’m talking about an earlier time in history when “red” was synonymous with a total loss of independence, a surrender to absolute government control. It’s a reference to the red flag of the former Soviet Union.
In a communist system, everyone except the power elite, lives in poverty and does what he or she is told, or else suffers the consequences (usually not very pleasant: Can you say “Gulag?” Can you say “Venezuela?”)
In a capitalist system, most of those willing to work, live in the “middle class,” with the opportunity to make decisions and take actions that will move them up or down the economic ladder, depending on their capabilities and decisions.
Unfortunately, school kids these days don’t study history. They’re not aware of what happened in Russia in 1917. They don’t know about the “Red Scare” of the 1950s, or being taught to hide under school desks in order to survive a nuclear war. They don’t know why Cuba is desperately poor, rather than rich , as it was before 1959. And they don’t understand why the “Green New Deal” is actually the Red New Deal.
If you sign on to the Green New Deal, you’re actually signing on to a “Red Deal.”
The Green New Deal requires that we allow government to control our lives. The government will spend trillions of dollars and take control of all aspects of our lives to ensure that everyone has the basic necessities, while trying to control the weather by throwing us back into the stone age. Actually, the progressive elite will live in luxury, but you’ll be among those waiting in bread lines, when and if bread is available.
Here’s the progressive argument for why we must agree to the Green New Deal: ALL climate scientists agree with AOC that the world will end in twelve years unless we act now! Not even one disagrees! It’s REALLY, REALLY BAD! We must give up all of our freedoms because of the reckless climate decisions make by those who came before us. If you don’t agree with this, the world will end in 2031! There’s no time for debate or further study, just agree with the progressives and let them take control of the world. You must do it RIGHT NOW! Every minute you wait is a minute closer to the end of the world!
Here’s the conservative argument against the Green New Deal: Socialists and communists LIE to us to take away our freedoms. While climate is actually changing, as it has been over the past few billion years, there is no definitive evidence that humans are causing climate change, or that we can do anything about it. However, there is proof that scientists have been cooking the data to make the case for their climate claims and theories. While we must monitor and debate climate change and all other issues pertaining to our society, we must act with caution and make decisions based on deliberate and thoughtful considerations.
Unfortunately, progressives have hijacked climate change as a way to take away your freedoms: “Give us absolute control NOW, or we’ll all be dead by 2031! REALLY! YOU MUST DO IT RIGHT NOW!”
Here’s my advice. Don’t be afraid for the polar bears. Be afraid of losing your freedoms!
Green actually means “Red” in the worst sort of way.
Also happy saint patrick’s day.
Mr. Evil thank you for a wonderful web site. I’ve made it my homepage and tell all of my conservative friends about it. Keep up the good work.
