Jeb Bush might as well pin an “I’m with Hillary” button on his lapel.
Both Jeb and Hillary have one thing in common: They’re sore losers.
I hope Jeb realizes that his political career is likely over — just like Hillary’s.
This weekend, former Florida governor and Republican presidential primary candidate, Jeb Bush, went on CNN’s “The Axe Files,” hosted by David Axelrod, and embarrassed himself by arguing that Republicans need to be given a choice, and should find a candidate to run against the President in 2020.
Jeb, who should Republicans run against President Trump? You mention Maryland Governor Larry Hogan. But if not him, who?
Maybe “Low Energy” Jeb?
Is it possible that it’s not important to Jeb that, under President Trump, the economy is doing better than it has in more than fifty years? Maybe it’s not important to Jeb that blacks, Hispanics, and women are finally making concrete gains and are economically better off than ever. Also, maybe it’s not important that we’re not in a war with North Korea, and that “Little Rocket Man” has stopped lobbing missiles over Japan.
And the swamp is slowly draining. Maybe that’s also not important to Jeb. Only progressives and sore loser “Never Trumpers” want to see the swamp refilled.
Jeb, please put away your swamp-filling hose and take my advice: If Hillary had accepted her defeat with grace and acknowledged her opponent’s win with humility, she might still be left with a small shred of dignity, rather than being rejected and scorned by her own party. Jeb, you’re on the way to becoming the new Hillary. Stop before you become the sort of empty shell Hillary has become!

Excellent comments. Sad day for the Bushes.
Steve, thanks for your thought. You’re right, it’s very sad. At one time, I and many other conservatives had high hopes for Jeb.
