My house is filled with hate. If you’re a conservative, yours’ may be, too.
My living room, my kitchen, even my bedroom, is filled with hate!
With a house filled with so much loathing, how am I enlightened enough to know this?
To be honest, I really didn’t know. Not until Elizabeth Warren explained it to me in one of her, as-usual, profound Instagram messages:
“I won’t do a town hall with Fox News because I won’t invite millions of Democratic primary voters to tune in, inflate ratings, and help sell ads for an outlet that profits from racism and hate.”
You see, the rooms I mentioned are those in which I have televisions. And those televisions are usually tuned to the Fox News Channel. In fact, as I’m writing at this moment from a laptop on my kitchen island, across the room, my TV is tuned to Fox News.
Now, let’s analyze the Instagram message. Warren, in her usually modest manner, says that if she goes on the Fox News Channel, she will attract millions of new viewers for the network and single-handedly help improve ratings. Or maybe she’s afraid that the millions of Democratic primary voters will actually like FNC and stay tuned in. Maybe they will learn how they’ve been misled by CNN and MSNBC.
And here’s one of her brilliant Tweets:
“Fox News is a hate-for-profit racket that gives a megaphone to racists and conspiracists—it’s designed to turn us against each other, risking life and death consequences, to provide cover for the corruption that’s rotting our government and hollowing out our middle class.”
Wait a minute! I thought that turning us against each other, rotting our government, and hollowing out the middle class was the job of liberals!
As I previously stated, my TV stays tuned to FNC. It’s probably just because I haven’t been paying attention, but I keep missing the parts when Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity wear their Klan hoods on set. And I keep missing it when Greg Gutfeld and Jesse Waters entertain their racist audiences by wearing black-face and praising the good-ol’ days of Jim Crow.
In fact, and again, it’s probably just because I haven’t been paying attention, but I don’t recall a single time that any of the Fox News anchors, reporters, commentators, or personalities have said anything remotely hateful or racist. Instead, time after time, I hear them stand up for the Constitution and the rule of law. I hear them when they stand up for family values, religion, patriotism, and a strong, prosperous America.
But I must be mistaken. I’m sure that Elizabeth Warren watches Fox News Channel far more than I do. And I’m sure she’s paying attention to every hateful and racist word they say.
But I do have one question, if Pocahontas watches Fox News as much as she says, how doe she have time to run for President? A second question: If she’s watching FNC so much, why hasn’t some of it’s common sense and traditional American values rubbed off on her?
These are just personal observations. But then again, what can you expect from someone who lives in a house filled with so much animus, racism, and evil?
