Imagine for a moment what would happen if every American who considers himself or herself a conservative disappeared from the face of the earth in one big cosmic POOF!
Unfortunately, that includes me, and presumably you, if you’re one of the loyal readers of this blog.
Hard to imagine, isn’t it. Doesn’t that mean that the socialists and liberals would be free to pursue their democracy-destroying progressive utopia with no opposition?
Maybe, but I don’t think it wouldn’t be as easy for the progressives as you might think.
Why?
Because there are so many moderates, including both democrats and republicans, in addition to independents, out there who would be forced into opposing the progressive destruction of society as they know it. Right now, they don’t have to lift a finger to oppose the super progressives because they have the conservatives to do it for them. They like being in the middle so they can pick a liberal policy that they like here, then a conservative policy they like there. But if conservatives weren’t around, they would be forced into becoming the new conservatives in order to save the society they know and love.
So, moderates, be thankful to your conservative brothers and sisters. They’re working to save society so that you don’t have to.
